Ball and Chain

Rebuild my body, start it from scratch
Again with my brain and my bones all detached
Put me in a jar and draw on a face
Nothing is ever simple I just live that way

Broke all the mirrors, tore down the frames
There's glass on the floor, I think it hit my brain
Shut down the system, pull all the plugs
The universe said that I would be someone

Thinking if they have it they'll be God's new fave

Stuck in my head
Blood from my nose
Down on my knees
Hung by my toes

Darling at night I dream of the end
I wake up and find I'm alone in my bed
Cover the stitches with glitter and glue
The older I get the more I hate the truth
