Risen From the Sea

Silence on a desert land
Removes the absence of life
Piles of dead sea creatures
Trapped on the fetid mud

An illusion devouring
The last normal bend
Thus, it can't be described
As a gentle being (I was speechless)

Dagon, rising from the sea
Roaring
Dagon, arms around the stone

Carved on the stone
Mollusks, eels and whales
A monolith of an ancient folk
Long-forgotten entries

Deep under dark waters
Fish-like monster
Growing madness now and then
Taking to the grotto (I was breathless)
