The Halo of Burning Wings

I have fallen into damnation
Slowly darkness devours the world
While the light of my life burns
ever brighter and more violent

I fear it burns too fast now
and that it shall consume both me and all the earth
For every hour that passes my radiance conquers
and dominates this solemn landscape piece by piece

The shadows I cast are terrible to behold
Yet in the vaining light man must look elsewhere for guidance

Soon the first and brave will start to flock towards me
Then one by one they will turn their eyes from the failing sun and let their path be lit...
