Lying in the darkness
She was waiting for the door to close
He was walking towards her
Expecting all she said she had to show
Hungry eyes that viewed her
Hand behind the back as she drew near
A vampire with a taste for blood
It's time to fear the end is near

He said, she said, you're dead
But it's nice to know you
Demons danced in her head

She cried
Just blame the knife, just blame the knife
Don't blame me
You should blame the knife, just blame the knife
Don't blame me
Go blame the knife, you should blame the knife
Don't blame me
Just blame the knife, just blame the knife
Don't blame me

Sitting in the courtroom
A silent smile in her eyes
The judge has read the verdict
And the crowd began to slowly rise
She just sat there laughing
Like the words had no effect at all
A vampire with a taste for blood
Wanting more and more and more and more

He said, she said, you're dead
But it's been nice to know you
Demons danced in her head

She cried
Just blame the knife, just blame the knife
Don't blame me
You should blame the knife, just blame the knife
Don't blame me
Go blame the knife, you should blame the knife
Don't blame me
Just blame the knife, just blame the knife
Don't blame me

The gavel slammed down
The gavel slammed down

He said, she said, you're dead
But it's been nice to know you
Demons danced in her head
With tears in her eyes, she cried

Just blame the knife, just blame the knife
Don't blame me
You should blame the knife, just blame the knife
Don't blame me
Go blame the knife, you should blame the knife
Don't blame me
Don't blame me
Just blame the knife, just blame the knife
Don't blame me, ow

Just blame the knife, just blame the knife
Just blame the knife, just blame the knife
Just blame the knife, just blame the knife
Don't blame me, ow
