The other day a wasp,Neulich is a Weps,
flew into my beer glass,mir in mein Bierglas gflogn,
but I saved it,doch ich hab´n gerettet,
pulled it out of my glass.hab´n aus mein Glas rauszog´n.

but the wasp was still quite drunk,doch der Weps was noch ganz bsuffa,
and flew into a tree!und is am Baum hingflog´n!

If ever again a wasp,Sollt jemals no a Weps,
flew into my beer glass,mir in mein Bierglas fliagn,
I won't save it anymore,i werd´n nimma rettn,
I won't pull it out of my glass.ihn aus mein Glasl ziagn.
But one thing I know for sure,Doch oans des woas i sicher,
that's what I'm certain of,des hoasst, des woas i gwiss,
I'll only let it out,i loss´n erst ans Steur,
when it's completely sober.wann er ganz nüchtern is.

and claims firmly and stubbornly,und behauptet fest und stur,
