Stay Out Of The Basement

There's something hiding in all of us
Open doors lead to hallways that never end
There is no map, only a compass
We are all somehow explorers of the a frontier
The inner workings, while complicated
Are still a job until like clockwork we disappear

We all learn to do what we must

The mission statement of the thoughts
That we keep suppressed
They always find you when you're well within
The reach of getting better
A process heavier than the weight
That your mind is fit to carry on its own
Why does it seem to be that we are always alone
When we just need a shoulder to help
With the boulder we're burdened with
I guess nothing is permanent
