Silently, suddenly, comes the ghost at your side
Quietest enemy inside the dream
Perfectly this reprieve, taken, but not given
Loneliness, like a mist lost to the sea

Eyes like violence cut desire and float down to the chair
Always still God's windowsill and perfectly aware

Child's play in the waves by this silent lighthouse
