Stagnate

no the time has come. gotta change the way things are going. it's so easy to stagnate when what i should be doing is growing. cause it's so easy to stagnate.
it's so easy to stagnate. it's not up to you.
now it's up to me. gotta wake up, face reality. the cats are trip, trippin'. the ceiling keeps on a drippin'.
and i keep on a slippin'. into a deep depression. happy songs don't last long, it's the ones with meaning that come out strong (x2). but the ceiling keeps on drippin'.
and i keep slippin'. now's the time to get out of this frame of mind.
