Sundown over a ruined place
Black trees reach for a man
Once in death
Barely alive, slowly rising
From a shallow grave
Night of lore evermore

Not blind but with broken eyes
Gazes curious at the olde night skye

Majik of the moontime begins
Silver tooth tears the roots in his head
Coming alive deep inside the gravekeeper’s grin
Dead before nevermore

Not blind, but with accursed eyes
Shadow creeps
No rhythm, no rhyme

Wretched wanderer slips through the gloom
Dark earth will bear the stain
Flesh and blood
First bite, miserable site
Will of the gravekeeper’s tooth
Night of gore, nevermore
