It's only in your minds eye all these things you see
Never ending noises but there's nothing there at all
Quickly switch the light on an they seem to disappear
But they'll be back again as soon as it gets dark

Some of them are staring back waiting in the gloom

Heart beat races to a scream reaching critical
Breathing heavy in cold sweat you can't control at all

Nightmare cities, amusement parks

The curtains moving all too slow breathing in and out
And it's now no use pretending they've seen your wide eyes shut
Shivers running down your spine with a rhythm with your shout
And now they're back again to take you in the dark
