At a young age, I grasped the concept
That society rewards the most obnoxious
The brightest peacocks become the alpha males
And human progress faulters when they tip the scales

And they beat their women
And they preach intolerance
And their biggot parents
They approve of all of this
And the vicious cycle
Is the newest fashion
And the people who suffer
Are the ones with compassion and patience

And they slither right out of their skin
And they crucify you for all of their sins
