The season's finally turned
And i'm walking down to work
Cause there's much left to be earned in these hours
The snow has finally learned
That she's relinquishing the dirt
I'm so incensed to see the earth that i stop and cry out:

I was buried underneath
A weight i couldn't see
All this concrete covered me, like a shroud...of snow
Silent i called your name
And silently you came
Over the freeways and the trains and i found my lungs again...singing:
