Above Ourselves We Must Pass
I carried trough my mountains of faith
Laying on the carousel of fate
A portion of pain, but a joyful ride
From which so much hide

As I pray myself to carry on
I forge my tale of existence
As I borrow my time till gone
I leave my daemons no chances

I played trough the passage of time
Finding some souls feelin' fine
Till a little reason to blame
Makes it vanishing so lame

I tried so much times passing that line
Weakened by the fruits of the vine
Till I wanted some changes
To open up my rusted fences

Sometimes, just here is the bow
That shall get you in your bed
Sometimes, it's closer than your shadow
For it's who live within your head

I've fought a mental army of knights
And I felt like the King within the fight
