I should have told you I didn't want this
I could have told you, but I was loveless
I was overwhelmed, but it was always
Eating at me even though I didn't show or tell

I always knew that there would be problems
Didn't feel bad but sometimes got nervous
Other times I felt the strain
But the overwhelming feeling was I didn't
Want to be in that place

It wasn't hard to see you go

You know we're better off by now
You know we couldn't work this out
Things changed, but I will say, I hope we
Never have to see each other ever again

There wasn't much to say it was hopeless
There wasn't any way you could stop this
You didn't even look the same, and
Whenever you were near me, all I wanted
Was to push you away

In my head, I think I was selfless
All of those things we bought were
Pointless
We had to give it all away, and I can't
Believe you left and made a deal with all the
Shit in that place

It wasn't hard to see you go
It wasn't hard to let you go

And we both know that day was a mistake
It couldn't fix anything
And as much as you try and shift the blame
There's nothing else you can say
