a crimsoned handkerchief divulge a death in Caesar's city
--we live uninspired
Die, a jar of ink unopened
Die, undue and undeserved end
Die, both twenty-five exhausted
Die, entombed in Christian mounds-bereft, too young, a jealous, shameless theft
Rise…
