In The Darkness

Dried out lakes where life belonged
(The eternal slumber)
Behold the shadows we have drawn

And I dream about a time
When the hopeless come alive

In the darkness I'll stand tall
Use my breath to blow down barriers
The uprising held by all
Will relieve them, live again
A bridge of light may fall
I'll build a raft of hope and bravery

A spark endowed ignites the sky
