Locked In Syndrome

Motionless – I cannot move
I only recall – how it felt before

Confined to my bed – I cannot escape
I want to move on – all in vain

The passing days – are all the same
I want to move on – but I can’t (shout)

Trapped in inactivity
My body’s locked my mind is free
My mind is free - I’m paralyzed (shout)

All my thoughts are passing by
I want to leave but cannot die
I cannot die - I’m paralyzed (shout)

I’m counting hours
I’m counting days

Locked in my body
I dream away

A glance to the left
A glance to the right
The world seems out of reach

I’m feeling trapped
Inside of my head
But there’ no way out

The passing days – are all the same
