Everybody wants an easy ride
on the merry-go-round that we call life.
Place your dreams on cruise control
then you wait to find its a winding road.
I had my dreams in view
when the money ran out and the engine blew;
I hung my tears out to dry as my
dream fell out of that big blue sky.

That's the way it is-

completely hopelessly fallen in love.

Well I know from experience nothing's
ever goin' to make perfect sense.
