My Coming Day

I can't even comprehend,
the desperate feeling setting in Lost,
alone I can not find my way
I've got my hand in front of me,
to feel my way I can not see
Pressing through the night to a new day
Darkness begins to make way,
for the dawning of the coming day
I see the Son on the horizon,
as the night finally begins to fade
I can see His majesty;
I hear the music of heaven sing
Moving slowly across the sky,
flooding the earth with
His glorious light I know I heard Your voice tell me,
in every night You'll be my coming day
Though I'm troubled I can hear,
a soft whisper in my ear
Reassuring promises of love
Shadows slowly start to cast,
brightness eases in at last
Lifted hands looking up above
You promised that You'd never leave
You promised that You'd never forsake me
I am leaving proof Oh God,
that Your promises are true
