We were sick and tired of Buffalo
Tired of freezin' and shovelin' snow
So we packed it up
and moved out to the coast
To find us a house in California

Something at the beach or Hollywood
3 or 4 bedrooms sound real good
Don't have to have a pool or a veranda
Just a simple little house in California
