Sidewalk Groove

Don't slip, don't trip take it all in stride.
Don't let one foot just fall behind.
It'll sneak up behind you know it'll find you.
And when it does it'll blow your mind.

It's the sidewalk groove,
The one that trips you up,
And makes you stop and take a look around.
And you hope noone is looking,

Waiting on the bus it's late you start to cuss!
And then you take that first step.
Your heel's too short, your toes are too long,
So you fall down and bust your lip!

Watch for the curb or the wheelchair ramp,
Make sure you've got the nerve when it rains or it get's damp.
Walk close to the rail and get up on the escalator,
If it don't getcha now you know it will sooner or later!
