Hay Libertad

There is freedom.

Hay Libertad

He took away the chains of deathLas cadenas de la muerte me quitó
For me, there is no longer any condemnationPara mí, ya no hay condenación
There is freedom, freedomHay libertad, libertad

Being a slave to sin, he freed meSiendo esclavo del pecado me libró
On the cross He bought my redemptionEn la cruz compró mi redención
And freedom, freedomY libertad, libertad

He broke my chains, he gave me new lifeRompió mis cadenas, me dio vida nueva
And he cast my wickedness into the depths of the seaY al fondo del mar echó mi maldad
He washed away my sins, and has forgiven meLavó mis pecados, y me ha perdonado
Only in the name of Jesus is there freedomSolo en el nombre de Jesús hay libertad

I proclaim the one who died for me on the crossYo proclamo al que en la cruz por mí murió
And it changed my hard heartY cambió mi duro corazón
For freedom, freedomPor libertad, libertad

The power of his gospel saved meEl poder de su evangelio me salvó
And I am not ashamed of the LordY no me avergüenzo del Señor
My freedom, freedomMi libertad, libertad

He broke my chains, he gave me new lifeRompió mis cadenas, me dio vida nueva
And he cast my wickedness into the depths of the seaY al fondo del mar echó mi maldad
He washed away my sins, and has forgiven meLavó mis pecados, y me ha perdonado
Only in the name of Jesus is there freedomSolo en el nombre de Jesús hay libertad
