Green Bottle Wednesday

tonight i opened that notebook
that i wrote in one year ago

emotion spilled from the pages
all the feelings i used to know

and since then things have changed

if i could i wouldn't take it back... no way
i'm still glad to be breathing here today

and i'm not scared of being alone anymore
and i'm not concerned with the possibility
of another girl walking out that door

i'd simply reply "no thanks, I'm content"

could be remedied
