Memories

Silence drew a veil, between the stresses of the day
And the nights tranquillity
I am a part of the darkness, that i see above me
The shadows are lingering, still as if listening
The shadows…all whispering, dark on the leaves
In a breath, in an eyelid’s fall
I see the dreams
Be still…i hear her call

I see the dreams
The dreams, storm into my brain
Only the memories …remain

Her skin’s so flawless, always cool
Almost fluid, as pale as ivory
I remember her smile
And how her lips touched mine

Every season of leaf in her eyes
The twin greens of spring and high summer in her eyes
The gold of autumn and in her rages her eyes are black

Her eyes are black, like midwinter rot
