My light, slowly fading
From mortal coil torn
But why, i am rescued,
And reborn

Cover my useless body
Replace my bleeding brain
There's nothing left and somehow
I remain

My broken hands replaced with steel (back from oblivion)
Yet through these sensors i don't feel (cross into digital)
I'll learn to live again without the pain
But it will never be the same

I am more than a man (from the darkness, into light)
Forsaken once my life began (soul discarded, blackened sight)

Full power hits the system
Fuels my efficient mind
No time to seek out answers undefined

I can't remember dreaming
Of things i'll never be
With filtered thoughts
I purge these memories

I analyze what still remains (my shattered memories)
Yet no emotion i retain (unchained from empathy)
Exist without the warmth of humankind
Alone i question my design
