Why We Fight

Such despair, and immense shame overwhelming me now
Atrocities perpetrated by man, i have witnessed

Still somehow i have a feeling of accomplishment
Haven't i released those who suffered and were unjustly oppressed?
Their unheard screams still echoing - go on and on
The foulness of this place… i just wanted to see them free once more

Is this my reward, which i've been fighting for?
I can't understand - maybe don't want no more
Nothing but a killer taking other killers' lives
Gruesome vicious circle - is this really why we fight?

And all those days i had the hope that some things could be changed
