People are the greatest thing, you see them ev'rywhere,
On the land, underseas, and flying through the air.
They come in different guises of colors shapes and sizes,
They're full of diff'rent languages and other big surprises.

People are the greatest thing, the best I've ever met,
Some of them live right next door and some live in Tibet.
Some are busy making things to keep the world contented.
