My foundation’s been damagedMeu alicerce foi danificado
And the roof is all crackedE o telhado tá todo rachado
And the plumbing where the water flowsE a encanação onde passa a água
Is old, it’s bad, it’s all brokenTá velha, tá ruim, tá toda quebrada

There’s no wiring leftJá não existe mais a fiação
It’s out of power, no maintenanceTá sem energia, sem manutenção
This renovation in me needs to start urgentlyComeça urgente essa reforma em mim

And the doors of the house and even the windowsE as portas da casa e até as janelas
Are destroyed, they don’t close anymoreEstão destruídas, elas já não fecham
And that made it easy for the enemyE isso facilitou pra o inimigo

With the absence of Christ in my house, I got comfortableCom a ausência de Cristo em minha casa eu me acomodei
I let the dirt in, look where I’ve ended upFui deixando a sujeira entrar, olha onde eu cheguei
But it’s not irreversible, with this renovation it’s still possibleMas não é irreversível, com essa reforma ainda é possível
For Jesus to dwell here inside me againJesus habitar aqui dentro outra vez

Establish my foundation in Your wordFirma meu alicerce em Tua palavra
And let my faith rebuild my roofE que a minha fé refaça o meu telhado
Urgently fix the plumbingCom urgência arruma a encanação

Jesus, please, replace the wiringJesus, por favor, troque a fiação
