Ô que tous ceux qui ont soif,O let all who thirst,
qu'ils viennent à l'eau.let them come to the water.
Et que tous ceux qui n'ont rien,And let all who have nothing,
qu'ils viennent au Seigneur :let them come to the Lord:
sans argent, sans prix.without money, without price.
Pourquoi devrais-tu payer le prix,Why should you pay the price,
sinon pour le Seigneur ?except for the Lord?

Et que tous ceux qui cherchent,And let all who seek,
qu'ils viennent à l'eau.let them come to the water.
Et que tous ceux qui n'ont rien,And let all who have nothing,
qu'ils viennent au Seigneur :let them come to the Lord:
sans argent, sans conflit.without money, without strife.
Pourquoi devrais-tu passer ta vie,Why should you spend your life,
sinon pour le Seigneur ?except for the Lord?

Et que tous ceux qui peinent,And let all who toil,
qu'ils viennent à l'eau.let them come to the water.
Et que tous ceux qui sont fatigués,And let all who are weary,
qu'ils viennent au Seigneur :let them come to the Lord:
tous ceux qui travaillent, sans repos.all who labor, without rest.
Comment ton âme peut-elle trouver le repos,How can your soul find rest,
sinon pour le Seigneur ?except for the Lord?

Et que tous les pauvres,And let all the poor,
qu'ils viennent à l'eau,let them come to the water,
Amène ceux qui sont chargés,Bring the ones who are laden,
amène-les tous au Seigneur :bring them all to the Lord:
amène les enfants sans force.bring the children without might.
Facile le fardeau et léger :Easy the load and light:
viens au Seigneur.come to the Lord.
