Utterly Destitute

Crude remains beyond redemption
contorted faces
swallowed up by the darkness
of the gap to be part
a bottle of leftover wine
bodies of no leftover life
such a roundabout way to get there
the hint of a gesture
broke up the movement for us
took the heat out of us
for decay to make its way from the backbone towards infinity
hang gliding out of the fullness of your heart
I belong to the interval
of the gap I am part
the holy scar can not heal over without secretions of the divine
just swallow the beast for now
unsettled beast immune to any temptation of fulfilment
