Cuando era más joven no sabía cómo ser.When I was younger I did not know how to be.
Vivía mi propia mentira y nunca me preguntaba por qué.I lived my own lie and I never asked the question why.
Siempre hablaba y me vestía como todos a mi alrededor.I always talked and dressed like everyone 'round me.

Inseguridad, falta de confianza, ese es mi estilo.Insecurity, no confidence that's my style.
Hice algunas cosas falsas, dirías que estaba tocando las cuerdas equivocadas.I did some false things, you'd say I was playing the wrong strings.
Darme cuenta y ver lo perdido que estaba, tomó un tiempo.To realize and see how lost I was, it took a while.
Pero valió la pena porque ahora soy mucho más seguro y en forma.But it was worth it 'cause now I'm much more confident and fit.

porque tuve la fuerza para detenerme y dar la vuelta antes de que fuera demasiado tarde.'cause I had the might to stop and turn around before it was too late.
En cambio, voy lentamente por mi camino y si no llego a la cima,Instead I'm slowly going my way and if I don't reach the top,
igual tengo muchas cosas aquí que aprecio.I still got lots right here I appreciate.

Solo porque ahora soy mayor no significa que esté completo.Just because I'm older now does not mean I'm complete.
Sí, todavía tengo miedo, no es tan fuerte pero aún está aquí.Yeah, I still have got fear, it's not as strong but it's still here.
Y a veces estoy confundido, pero ahora sé dónde poner los pies.And I'm confused at times, but now I know where to put my feet.
