Autumn Night Demon

Leaves slowly falling from a blood-red sky
Rain running down my cheek as if I cry
The wind's howls summons the demons of night
I tremble as my skin turns pale white

A sweet, rotten scent fills the air
I sigh, I feel the weariness in my mind
I remember the last time you were here
13 months went by just fine

The frozen sensation I have on my skin
Is it only the kiss of the wind?
The shadow I see when I look 'bove my shoulder -
is it the reason that I'm suddenly colder ?

The rain is still falling, the wind still weeps
Suddenly 'pon me I feel something leap
