I feign sleep - False renown

To discern
Ideas to leave behind
A heritage for the ones who thought they knew
Waiting
I bide my time
Longing for changes
Forcing me to prevail and stay the same
I crave death - Grant it now

Hewn by their beatings and broken in flesh
No longer extricated or enmeshed
Remade by torment and changing in shape
Straying from trails knowing how they relate

Clouded when memories would not intertwine
My insurrection will make me divine

Cannot see through my eyes
Enemies in disguise
They upheld broken trust
Frown upon my disgust

Treacherous and filled with awe
I forget what I saw
