More complicated than a Rubik's
More sides and colours, it's always changing
We walk and talk around in circles
Wasting time and find the truth is undiscovered

The time we felt it like a spotlight
I played, you sang in harmony

Making promises and breaking others

We hide behind our shields
We're hiding what we feel
How long can we go on pretending

I pay the piper then, you call the tune
Take our places with the dancers
Moving round the tables one after the other

The moves we made while shadow boxing
I blocked the punches and, you did the same
Maybe better if we had a rumble
Then crawl into our corners as we recover
