On a carpet sewn of leaves in a simple dress
Made of crepe de shin, a gift of summer breeze
In a lane the lady autumn danced a cross step waltz
Sunny day flew away, the saxophone sang horsly

And the people from the district came to join us

And they clapped their wings applauding to the golden dancer
