Home alone again
The fear just never
Seems to go away
Of the ceiling crashing in
I'm looking up into the dark
I feel it pulling at my soul
The strangest voices from beyond
Reaching out to call me

Never before did the right thing feel so wrong
I got way too close to the Sun
Not for the first time I was wrong trying to make it right

I burned a blind spot into my eyes
A dark hole filling out my sight
On the edge a ray of sunshine
Teasing what might lie behind it
