Gaia Hypothesis

Stirring anger moves the night
Shadows creeping through the rain
Torn by new light from the dawning moon
Crawling in a desert place
Where nothing grows or moves,
No one breathes or even dares to go!
Scratching in the dirt, I hear her thunder…..

"I gave the world to you
While you thought nothing of it.

Mother forgive us, we know not what we can do! (Humankind)

Piercing black holes in her skin
Cutting, tearing at her lungs
Now she fights for every breath to live
Always taking what we want
Instead of what we need
Innocents must suffer at our hands!
Swallowed by the mire, I feel her sorrow……
