Winter Wonderland

sleighbells ring
are you listening
in the land
snow is glistening
a beautiful sight
we're happy tonight
walking in a winter wonderland
gone away is the bluebird
here to stay is a new bird
he sings you a song
as we go along
walking in a winter wonderland
in the meadow we can build a snow man
and pretend that he is parson brown
he'll ask are you married?
we'll say no, man
but you could do the job while you're in town
when it snows then it's thrilling
though your nose gets a chilling
we'll frolic and play the eskimo way

and pretend that he's a circus (santa) clown
we'll have lots of fun with mr. snowman
until the other kiddies knock him down
later on we'll conspire
as we dream by the fire
to face unafraid
