Fog Lights

We looked into the wide open sky window
As often as at nights in August
The stars reel

When the sunset sunk tinged with colours of marengo and vanilla
And the sky rumbled
The droplets of the autumn rain made us smile
We were in love

But time went by
Changing us beyond retrieve

I remember my envy of the waves
Of their innocent clarity
I remember how surf kissed my feet
I caught the lighthouse glance at the seaside

And a few years later you, whose soul you filled with corrosive poison, found yourself sisters
In a form of greed and anger
That's how you became empty

You will not see the glow of my lights in the fog
You will just dissolve them with a grey haze of your hands
I shall drop silently next to you
Kneel to your legs, fall as the leaves fall in late autumn
As a fading grizzle of the close forest
But you will not see me anymore, covering my face with your palm

The lights of the fogs will no longer disrupt my sleep
Happy widows, you should not lie to yourselves and gather cries of soldiers
Just be happy at the widow's comfort
