They Ran

Crawling on their knees in the sand and in the dark, the water’s near,
Their bodies floating on the waves – past little sharks…
Wooo-o-wo-o-wo-oo-o-o-o-o-o
We see, we go where the sun and the light shone.
We swam for the shore, where the light still goes, still goes.
We camp on the shore, while the dark starts to knock on our doors.
Lets see whose all in charge so we can meet them, shake their hands and
Play the parts of loyal peasants who would never dream of dissent, write of revolt – alright!
