Condemned in Lies

I took a glimpse, in vain, into the night
My eyes, they wandered, filled with horror-
the abyss, it possessed no light
From gloomy dusk to shining dawn.

False idols ruled their reign,
Cursed gods in lies, and fear, and shame.
Their fury, oh it froze my blood-
Back then condemned was Wisdom's might.

Cries echoed, spreading fear-
Back then condemned was Wisdom's might
Wild fruit of somber blindness.

From gloomy dusk
To shining dawn
There is no evil that can reach
My strength
My shadow
It shall be
In waves
And flames of fire.
