Ceiling cracks

Staring at the ceiling cracks
Wishing that you'd call me back
The room is getting cold
Growing old, growing old

I am tired of this place
Tired of your ghost embrace
Every night is just the same
Forgetting my own name

Sleepless hours strike so slow
Nowhere left for me to go
Clock is ticking on the shelf
Angry at myself

Did you mean the things you said?
Heavy thoughts inside my head
I'll just close my eyes and drift
Waiting for a shift

The room is getting cold
Growing old, growing old
