Still Alive

to be confronted with the death
introduced himself as my destiny
he didn´t reach out the hand for me
although my breath went away

i saw his nasty sneer
you couldn´t overlook that he enjoyed his work
for all the stolen souls i felt no pity
cause for me there was no loss

the pain in heart and head
to add sorrow his speciality
justice is a word he is not familiar with

since he crossed my path
he took away all what was important for me
only silence and loneliness was left
even my soul was taken away

when i finally opened my eyes
there were beads of sweat on my forehead
