To The Stars

Do you feel how time is passing by?
For there’s no way to stop it
It’s a relentless flow of Life
We are here, but we don’t know why

Since we were born
We’ve been told lies
They scared us to fill the Void
Since there’s nothing here but just matter
Elements, reactions and cells

Up to the stars and far beyond
Through oceans of time
As Life goes on
We’re vanishing to dust, to dust!
We’re not built to last
Back to the stars and above
We’ll see just how fragile we are
And so meaningless

No need for a higher Law
In the end Everything is One

Up to the stars
Right from down below

In a nutshell, here is what we are
Biochemical machines floating in the Space
It’s up to us to build our fate
And to do the best we can

They have been trying to convince us
That we are the chosen ones
Trying to ignore that we are only made of
Elements, reactions and cells

Up to the stars and far beyond
Through oceans of time
As Life goes on
We’re vanishing to dust, to dust
We’re not built to last
Back to the stars and above
We’ll see just how fragile we are
And so meaningless

No need for a higher Law
In the end Everything is One

So, why shouldn't we trust in what we see?
Reality is far enough
Even though there’s much more to observe
