It was the worst of the worst, the best of the best.
But i hope we hit the bottom, yes we hit the bottom,
Now rise.
From the bloodiest century
And the greatest discoveries
Allow my foolish hope,
To think it's more than just a number
Planetary ills, cyber thrills, longevity pills,
Runaway technology

But if left to a guess, i'll guess more of the same
Vicious brutality, unimaginable technology
I hope that i'm wrong about the 21st century
Man has this ball of life entrusted in his hands

To make believe it won't be more of the same
