The Reaper

The rain and thunder shake the ground
As lightning rages all around
The shadows surrounding me
A dark meadow in the night
The glowing moon the only light
A black figure in front of me
A silhouette with glowing eyes
And I can feel the end is nigh
I turn and run away

Was this reality or dream?
I cannot tell
Was this a message
From heaven or hell?
There's no time for you to realise
Once your life has flashed before your eyes
I never thought it could happen to me
But you'll know when the reaper comes for thee
Between the trees I see a light
I hear a voice call in the night
I turn and can't believe my eyes

Beautiful angel flying high
Hellfire raging in her eyes
She whispers it's your time to die
On his path we walk and follow blind
Marching on till we get left behind

As I stand lost in the trees
