Have you seen their silhouettes, black and swaying from the winds that blow across this across this county? Did you wave on back to them, taking the weight of your hand and pushing on the air?

Take your filthy hands and lift them high.
We are only children lost in all this brilliance.
Sometimes it's easy to forget.
Often we forget.

Our bodies are not perfect but mine is filled with gold.
Knotted hair, crooked teeth, and northern soil.
