Homeless

On the table are the most expensive and rare delights in the world
The guests walk and we realize that they transgress and gorge themselves
After all, they are kings, princes and politicians

The night is winding down and there’s still wine for everyone
The richest are stupefied by the charm of the girls in black
In a lunatic back-and-forth the servants rush to attend the guests
But outside the party doesn’t come

Homeless are dying around the cold fire on sidewalks
Sharing stale bread, they are trying to survive alone
See the wealthy people afraid to get close these humble souls
And teaching their children that they are dirty and dangerous
But life is sneaky and maybe one day your mirror will show you
Another homeless in the world

Toothless homeless people snore in the Sun lying on the streets
Stupefied by drugs they beg for clothes, change, food and love
In the midst of them a child smile at his fantasies
We wake up in the hope that the gold will sweep away this scene
But what we see is a persecution of those who are really trying
To help the homeless in their hell
