A Vast White Headless Phantom

Right now I think it's dip twist
Lick the center and discard the rest
In this new age misinform me from the screen
If I could overcome this apathy
Then I think I'd read
I think I'd speak
And maybe cut the leash
From this carcass that's been dragging us under the sea

It didn't cost much I spent the rest to cover my skin
With the sweat of a starving child
Who works so I can fit in
An advertisement
I wear it proud but within
I'm lonely and growing so tired
Every day is an audition

Yeah hear comes the cliff
For all I know
Everyone is doing it

The horizon
So promising I didn't see
The ground relinquish its power
To the air underneath my feet
Now I'm falling
A million faces look so content
Wearing white follow before thinking
Rocks and dirt are so very distant
