Breaking my shell now I’m gasping for my last breath

Now it’s a race for life I escape toward
This blinding spear of light
The beasts devour us whole

Diving in I taste the salt on my lips
The soothing waves brush the sand off of my skin
The endless blue grabs a hold of my souls as it beckons me out there
Looking left then right new creatures pass me by
Looking down a cluster of color before my eyes, overwhelming me
To the unknown I begin

To suppress my hunger I feel upon the ones with a ghost like skin
